MAORIS WITH SUB-MACHINE GUN
"The Chronicle's" Waikanae correspondent advised last evening that as a result of police activities, a sub-machine gun of American make, together with three magazines containing ammunition, had been found in a house occupied by a Maori family. This makes the fourth recovery of arms by the police within recent date, the others being tound at Wellington and Napier and in conneetion with the recent Bank hold-up at Bulls. ■ *
