LINESMAN'S PROMPT ACTION
FELLOW-WORKER S LlFE SAYED The presence of mind shown by Mr. Goldsmith, of the Horowhenua Electric" Power Board's staff, 'in an ac.cident at Foxton On March 21, was the subject of a letter ^eceived from a Foxton resident, signing himself "Spectator." Mr. Goldsmith was working with Mr. D. Corner when the iatteFfe arm came into contact with the 250-volt line. Mr. Goldsmith went to the top of the pole and brought Mr. Corner to the gfound. The letter stated: "I wish to draw youf attention to the gallant action of Mr. Goldsmith in saving the life of Mr. Corner. The prompt action of Mr. Goldsmith definitely saved Mr. Corner's life. Even the doctor remarked on his brave action."
