NO INTENTION OF RETIRING SAYS HON. P. WEBB
CHRISTCHURCH, April 15. The Minister of Mines, the Hon. P. 0. Webb, has announced liis intention ofagain contesting the B.uller seat at the coming general election. Mr. W'ebb said he had heard notliing of reports tliat he was likelv to retire from politics and leave the J^ullef seat to be eontested by the Minister of Rehabilitation, the Hon. C. F. Skinner, whose Motueka j eleetorate is to Ije abolished. "I propose contesting the election, said Mr. Webb. "1 will liighl on. " He added that he had not yet studied the changes in the boundaries of tlie Buller j eleetorate, which has lost the Grev Valley mining district to Westland a-nd { taken in much of the present Motueka | eleetorate. j The Minister is convalescing. after an ; operation for appendieitis.
