TENNIS SEASON ENDS

LEVIN CLUB'S CLOSING DAY MATCH TOURNAMENT PLAYED The Levin Tennis Club brought a higMy successful season to a "close last Saturday with a match tourna--rnent, which was won by Miss J." Walker and N. Parker: At an appropriate juncture the president (Dr. S. J. Thompson) said ohat all would look back on a most ■pleasant season. The year had commenced without the work on the new No. 2 court completed, Ieaving onl.y three courts at its disposal and seriously handicapping the club. Ihe work had been completed. in December by a local contractor, a.nd all tlie club's courts were. now in good condLtion. During the season an outd'oor d'ance had been orgapised in aid of the R^S.A. , Memorial Hall Appeal','. the" club' being one of the first to. support this effort. Dr. Thompson thanked the officers. and eommittee for the work they had done during. the- year, commenting that all had benefited by their efforts.
