EASTER TOURNAMENTS Several clubs are organising tournaments for the Easter holidays. The Levin and Central Clubs will hold a combined rinks tournament on Friday and Saturday, entries for which close 'at 6 p.m. tomorrow, April 17. Members are advised to lodge their entries immediately. Entries so far received include four Levin rinks, two from each of Petone, Otaki and Shannon Clubs, and one from each of Lower Hutt and Levin Central. A tournament will also be held at Raumati South on Easter Saturday, when five games of ten ends-will be played. Rinks from Otaki Club will attend this tournament, while others will compete in- that at Levin on the Friday and Saturday. Central Club's rinks championship was finalised on Saturday, the honours going td' a rink consisting of W. Mudgway, Hartstong'e, Poad and Sharp' (s); which beat Gawler, Bell, Blake and Braid (s) . The Levin . Club's ,, qhampionship fours competition was also decided on Saturday when a rink skipped by the veteran, R. Henderson, beat one skipped by Hill in the final. The score was 24 to 13 and the rinks consisted of Gardiner, Carmichael, Burnham and R. Henderson (s) and Aldridge, Lett, Hughes and Hill (s). The Otaki Bowling Club will take part in the Manawatu tournament on Friday, Saturday and Monday, and will be represented by Symonds, Jepson, Webster and Lawrie (s).
