SIXTY YEARS IN LEVIN
TitlBUTE TO LATE MR. JAMES j ROSE Speaking at last evening's meeting of the Levin Borough Council, the Mayor (Mr. H, B, Burdekih) made reference to -the recent passing of the late Mr. Jarries Rose, one of Levin's oldest residents, His Worship said it was some sixty years since the _ late Mr. Rose came and settied in Levin, his first home being in Salisbury Street, which was then virgin bush, He had lived his life in the town as a \ very honoured resident. The council paid respect to the deceased gentleihan's memory by standing in silence.
