A World Jewish Congress speaker asserted that Czeclioslovakia, under Russian pressnre, liad begun to force some of the 40,000 displaced inhabitants to return to Carpatho-ITkraine whieh was eeded to Russia, and added tliat Congress liad asked Britain and America to iatercede ou belialf of tlie displac.ed inhabitants who were Jews aml who had refused to return when: they heai'd their homes had become Russian territory. 1 )
