CANADA'S NAVY IN PACIFIC

The Canadian Press learns that Canada will. have naval ©quadrons on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts including a cruiser, carrier, destroyers and frigates that would enable Canada to assume an important part in Pacilic defenee. This is signifleant in view of the London reports that the Empire Prime Miriisters' conference would diseuss the possibilit} of Canada assuming a larger share in. Empire defenee problems. The carrier Warrior, at present berthed at Ilalifax, is not fitted for Atlantic winters and is now scheduled to be moved to the Pacific, while the cruiser Enterprise is already in the Pacific.
