BADMINTON

I There was a large attendance of players at the Druids' Hall on Thursday evening for the club badminton. A number of very interesting games were played and a delightful supper was provided by the lady members. Next Monday evening the club proposes holding a team match. The teams chosen are as follows: — No. 1 team: Mesdames W. Gyde, A. S. Hyde and H. Pope, Misses T. Moynihan, R. Haley, P. Small, D. Ritchie, N. Moynihan, Messrs V. E. Tippler (Capt.), Syme, A. Bell, T. S. Downes, G. Clough and S. Chester. No. 2 team: Misses G. Forbes, N. Thomson, H. Gardiner, J. Pigott, M. Fuller, A. Pedersen, B. Roach, MessTS A. S. Hyde (Capt.) , L. Burling, D. Richards, E. Chester, S. E. Hyde and Hermansson.
