NEW Y.ORK, April 8. A merchant seaman, Joseph Yargas, charged witli abandoning a wife and six children, told the police he had a wife in practically every port, having married in Chicago, Meridian, Cleveland, New Orleans, Baltimore, Detroit, and Ilouston.
