"If neither the British nor the Hindus will concede Paltistan, Russia will give it to us, " said a - former Indian High Commissioner in London, Sir Firoz Khan Noon, at a three-day convention attended hy 400 Moslem League representatives. The delegates, at the end of the convention, tcok an oath pledging that they would undergo any danger, trial or sacrifice for the attainment of Pakistan. The leader of the Moslem League in the United Provinces' Assembly, Chaudhri Uzzarnan, said that, if the intsrim Government that Congress demanded was estahlished in the teeth of Moslem opposition, the Moslem League would never allow a single Constituent Assembly to come into existence. It is understocd that Mr. Gandhi suggested to tne British Cahinet Mission that, if a settlement hetween Congress and the Moslem League were not reached on the question of Pakistan, it should he referred to an international tribunal.
