WOMEN'S INSTITUTE MEETS

Eight -of the twelve members of the committee of the Shannon Women's Institute met last Thursday afternoon, the chief discussion being on the Anzac Day dinner. It was resolved that an invitation be sent to the Mayoi* and to the secretary of the Shannon R.S.A. extending a welcome to all returned personnel of the South African War and World Wars I and II to attend a dinner in the Druids' Hall after the Anzac Day service on April 25.
