. The Otaki A.A. and C. Club is to be congratulated on the success of its meeting o'n Saturday, ' and had the weather been fine 'the attendr ance wouid naturaliy have been nnich larger. Officials carried :out their duties in a most able rriannef, amoiig the chief ones being The handicappers and starter, Messrs. T. Btevens, iviajor Sehl arid Enoka. The handicapping could not have been improved upon, and many were the lavouraote cominents passed to tne responsible officials. The various scewarcis are also to be congratulated on their efforts. It is quite safe to say that when the next sports are held, Otaki may expect a 'record crowd.
