ARGENTINE ACTIVITIES IN CHILE
Received Monday 9,50 p.m.. NEW YORK, April 8. The Chilean Foreign Office stated that Chile had raised' tbe question in Washington whether • tbe ' United' States Government went beyond tbe facts in its possession when i^suing its Blue Book concerning Argentina's Nazi activities. The Blute Book stated that tbe United States possessed absolute proof tbat Colonel Peron during t.he war sought to provoke a reyolution in Cbile in order to establish a pro-Axis Government. Uhile, after tbe issue of the Blne Book, asked the United States Government for proof of tbe cbarges; also for tbe names of the Cbileans involved in tbe plot. The State Department, according to tbe Chilean Foreign Office, replied tbat investigation of tbe relevant docum6nts had failed to produce sufficient proot , to enable tbe singling out of any Chilean for alleged revolutionary activities.
