The receiving oflicer will require the taxpayers' full christian names, surname ahd full postal address as shown in the return of income. interest at.the rate of 1£ per cent. fpr each complete month from the date of payment to the sixth February next will be allowed on alL payments of income-tax made in advance and credit for such payments, including interest allowed uiftll be shown on the income-tax demand. The commissioner anticipates that a large 'number of taxpayers will taka advantage of the scheme which which should prove of considerable assistance to those taxpayers who have difficulty in finding the funds necessary to make payment of income-tax in one sum in February of each year.
