HARVEST FESTIVALS
^ " Mrs." Martin presided over a fair attendanee of members of the Presbyterian Church Women's Guild at the church on Wednesday afternoon. The business was the arranging of the harvest thanksgiving festival, which was held yesterday. The Methodist Ladies' Guild also met on Wednesday afternoon, and were mainly concerned with the after business of the harvest festival sale. The Rev. Mr. Chatsworth gave the first of a\ series of readings on "The Women of the Bible." The sad news was conveyed to members that Mrs. Thornley, wife of the Rev. Mr. Thornley, who had been their minister until a year ago, had passed away at Manaia on Tuesday.
