Rats Destroy Peas
Not far from Wellington a crop of peas in a domestic garden was harves.ted by bush rats, states a j member of tlib Forest and Bird Protection Society. The ga.rden is hard up against a fiiie piece of 1 bush, the rats were observed to ; cliriib up the sticks supporting the. peas, fill their cheeks with peas, ajid | make off.
