Hon. A. McLagan announced yesterday. the appokitment o'f Mr. H. L. Bockett as- Direetor of .Employment and permanent head of 4 the National Employment Service. Mr. Bockett has held the position of Controller of Manpower since August, 1942. In addition, he was appointed Direetor of National Service in May, 1944.
