TE HORO'S ANNUAL MEETING V '"t, : i The Te Horo. Women's Institute held "its fourteerith anriual meet-ing-i in' the Te fHoro Hall recentiy. The' fiieetihg w'as presided over by the president, Mrs. Grant,. who congratulated the secretary on the report and expressed the hope, that in the future more demonstrators would be available, Mrs, Grant also thanked the secr.etary-treksurer and members - for • their loyal.support. As the retiring president, she then vacated the chair in favour of Mrs." Tabor, who had come from Levin to conduct the election, which resulted as follows: — President: Mrs. Grant (re-elected) ; committqe: Mesdames Brown, Geange, Masters, Clark, Walker, Mills, Spiers, Sutton, Strom and Shernack. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Cottle and Styles. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs. Tabor for her address and for conducting the election. Mesdames Grant and Tabor and Miss Catley were the" recipients of bouquets. The-' -meeting was brought to a conclusion with the singing of the National Anthem.
