SUMMARY OF COLLECTIONS The patriotic appeals on b.ehalf of the Otaki and district patriotic executive committee for the past si,x years have amounted to no less than £13,029 19s lOd, made up as follows:— i-.Otaki Committee,-. £9644 16s 2d; Manakau Committee, , £909 16s 8d; Te Horo Committee, £1443 15s; Waikanae Committee, .£1031 i2s. In the 1945 appeal the money raised was made up as under: — Otaki Committee. — £346 17s 7d; eclleetions : Per Red Crcss £85, social committee £246 4s- 3d, Women's Emergency Committee, £200; general £277 13s lld; total, £1155 15s 9d. Manakau Committee.— Brought forward £61 4s 5d, coilecticus £126; total, £187 4s 5d. Te Horo Committee. — Brought forward £34, 16s 6d; ' collections £193 10s; total, £228 6s 6d. Waikanae Committee.— Brought forward £107 16s 8d, collections £137 17s 3d; total, £245 13s lld. " Summary for district. — Brought forward £550 15s 2d, collections £1269 5s 5d; total, £1820 0s' 7d.
