Senator Bridges announced that tne War Department was investigating a report that Russian fighters had forcea an American Army transport plane to land in Russian-occupied Germany. The Russians hekl the passengers incommunicado for four days. He said the plane was forced tp land hy two Russians after becoming lost in overcast weather. Senator Bridges addcd that this v/as not an isolated' incident.
