Personal f Mr. Ray Downes entered the Palmerston North Hospital yesterday to undergo & minor operation. Mrs. E. Chester and her son, Mr. Ernie Chester, have returned from a holiday visit to Taumarunui, where .they were the guests of Mrs. Ches:ter's daughter, Mrs. Wilson. Mrs. L. H. Best and her daughter,. Mrs. Thom, left for Christchurch to-day, where Mrs. Best will spend a holiday with Mrs. Thom.
