PREVALENCE IN JAPAN Received Thursday, 10.30 a.m. TOKIO, March 27. The Kyodo news agency has reported over 20,000 cases of eruptive typhus and smallpox in Japan. chiefly in Tokio, Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto. The Associated Press' Hong Kong correspondent reports that the cruiser Los Angeles is quarantined there with two smallpox casqs aboard.
