SORTING OF MAILS

IF POST OFFICE HAS FIVE-DAY WEEK WELLINGTON, Jdarch 28. If the post office employees receive a forty-hour five-day ' week, first class mail will continue to be sorted by a minimum staff on Saturdays and Sundays, and private boxes will receive mail as usual over the weekends, the P. and T. Department stated to-day. Second class mail, which is not handled on Sundays, will probably not be sorted on Saturday under a five-day week. It is also possible that household delivery of mails on Saturday will be discontinued, but discussions on this matter are proeeeding.
