"v Further district members of the R.N.Z.A.F. are returning to New Zealand from the United Kingdom by the Arawa, which is due' to arrive at Wellington on April 3. They are F/Lt. C. Chrystal and F/Sgt. G. J. Parlato, of Foxton, and F/O J. L. Horn, of Manakau. At the monthly meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board this week the resignation of Miss E. lF. Staples was received. The man-aging-secretary (Mr. R. A. FrederIkson) said that Miss Staples had started work in January, 1939, taking the place of the cashier who had left for overseas. • He commented on her very capable work, and said that she had been of a great service to the board. The chairman (Mr. G. A. Monk) endorsed Mr. Frederikson's remarks, and congratulated her on her approachlng marriage.
