WOMEN'S DIViSiON
LEVIN JUNIOR BRANCH The eighth annual meeting of the Levin junior branch of the W.D.F.U. was heid recentiy. The report and balance sheet, both of which were unanimously adopted, showed that the branch had had a very successful year. The president expressed thanks to the advisory committe^ for its interest during the year, to the officers who had ably assisted her during the year and to those who had kindly given demonstrations and talks at monthly meetings. A vote of thanks was passed to H. J. Jones for his services as auditor. Donations have been given to the W.D.F.U. rest home, Levin W.D. h'ousekeeping fund and the Makogai Leper fund. The following officers were elected for the coming year: — . President: Miss P. Roe; vice-presidentsNMisses J. Law, J. Cockrell and B. Taylor; secretary and treasurer: Miss A. , Blackburn; social committee: Misses P. Roe, A. Blackburn, J. Law, J. Cockr.ell, B. Taylor, P. Speedy, N. Blackburn, D. Campbell, H. Kernohan, M. McDonald and Mrs. J. Stewart; auditor: Mr. H. Jones. After themeeting members joined the Young Farmers' Club for supper.
