, "V IRAQ SEEKING REVISION RECENT TALKS WITH TURKEY J Received Monday, 11.30 a.m. CAIRO, March 24. The Prime Minister of Iraq, M. E1 Swedy Bey, declared that reports that Iraq Kurds were involved in any disturbances inside Persia were "absoluteiy untrue." The Prime Minister announced that Iraq had asked Britain for a revision of the 1932 Anglo-Iraq Treaty, which provided for the maintenance of R.A.F. bases west of the Euphrates River. An Iraq committee was studying the situation with a view to taking up the matter with Britain. He added that the talks the president oi the Iraq Senate, General Muri Es Said, had had during Tiis visit to Ankara were "merely concemed witn mutual heip and friendship between Turkey and Iraq on educational, commercial and cultural matters."
