An oliicer of tlie Department stated that tlie Soil Fortility ltesearrh Staiion at Hamilton was now carrying oul cxperiments with new weed lcillers, iiu'luding horniono solutions, which nllaeked Ihe roots. Tlie resulYs were encouragiug, but the work was dolaycd by diflicully in securing adequate hiippiies oi' matei'ials.
