The death occurred at Auckland yesterday of Hon. F. E. Lark, M.L.C., [who tuiti! his retirement through ill-health about eight months ago : was secr.etary of the New Zealand j Workers' Union. Mr. Lark was | prominently associated with the Labour movement in Auckland and Iin other parts of New Zealand for many years. He is survived by his wife and by two sons and! one : daughter. | Mr. G. A. Wilkes, Postmaster at Wellington East, has been elected president of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Employees' .Associa- . tion, vice Mr. J. G. Churchill, wno has resigned to take up a position on the \ association's permanent staff. A consequential vacancy on the Dominion executive committee has been Rlled by the election of Mr. B.' J. Mclvor, foreman mechanician, Wellington.
