Ua.mson, jarranged a yery delightful -progmmme .of vari.ety and interest ' .to young and .old, while games wer.e | .also indiulged in- " ' i During. the evening oppoytunity w.as taken to express appr.eciation pf the sterhng character of Miss Merfe f£ennerley, who during her years ,of local residence has always , b.e.en of .a kindly and lovi.ng dis- . position and has ever sought to be | helpful tp all gpod r.auses, and to j :any indjviduals in need of help. On i behalf of the members of the Meth- i ■odist Senior JBible Class, who, with : many Mothodist friends w.ere pres- j ent, Mr„ -,Q. R. Spencer spoke inl appreCiation of the worth and work , •Miss Kenperley has rendered in past J years, and asked her to accept a ; hook as a small token of their ; esteem. Major Ward spoke words j of advice pnd encouragement on j •behalf of the Home League, and! recalled her own feelings when she "herself was in the same position as : "Miss Kennerley. On behalf of the! young people, with whom Miss Ken- ! ■nerley has been elosely and happi-ly ■ asspciatfed, Captain Williamson ! Wished the guest of the evening much happiness and usefulness in .her pew spljere. A presentation of a beautiful Bible was jhanded to Miss Kennerley.
