SIX MEN GHARGED AT LIVERPOOL Received Wednesday, 7.20 p.m. LONDON, March 20. Accused were James Welsh (a seadian),' Gharies Latyrenson (a seaman), Qharles Patrick Hamilton (a motoi joiin Kay (a taxi-driver) , enry Joseph White (a decorator) and Thomas McGlynn (a ship's hreipan j ^oo'iynn was auiested at u-ibraltar and liovvn back to England. Prosecuting counsei said Greeney died froni rapid asphyxia. There wasno evidence of tne vioient struggie expectable irom someone in his normal faculties wfien put on a rope; there iore rue expianation might he that the boy had heen incapacitated hy a vialent blow, A pafchologist would give evidence that the boy must have been suspended for half-an-hour. There was no evidence of accidentai or suicidaj hanging. Tne prosecution submitted that ali accused committed the burgiary to gether. The hanging would require two men to carry it out. Neither Kay nor jriamilton was inside tlie house, tnoug.. taking part in the burgiary. There was no direct evidence as to which oi' tl/e accused suspended the boy and tlve prosecution alieged constructive homicide against the otlier four accused. Porty witncsses are being called and the hearing is expected to last for two days.
