Redman, who was coinpletely uiulisturbed at the nevvs of | his good fortune, told a reporter that he would make uo plans until he saw the money. Redman has been a resident | of Chertsey for 31 vears and has been j employed on farms in the district. -He received by ainnail a letter annouucing the results of the lottery, but did iiot open it until some hours later,. Avhen he was going to bed. Redman had a halfshare in a prfze of £100 in the same lottery 35 years ago.
