HOROWHENUA BEAT SCOTS During the week a Horowhenua College junior eleven defeated a ( Scots College eleven in a two day match at. Wellington. The visioOi'S went to the wicket first and com piled a total of 69 runs. Scots x-eplied with a round 50, all out at the end of the first day. Horowhenua in their second lnnmgs were all out for 62, four members of the team making "ducks." Scots m their second innings batted with more confidence and when stumps were drawn they had made a total of 71. Thus Horowhenua won by a narrow nine ruqs. The principal details are:— .
