The monthly meeting of the Shannon Plunket Society was held recently, Mrs. Wilson presiding over ia large gathering which included !the following members of the committee: Mesdames Easton, Creagh, 1 Edmonds, Tremewan, Wishart anci 1 Thurston. • -• • " ' - The committee . acknowledging donations of £2 2s from the Shan'non Borough Council -"and £2 2s from the Shannon Dairy Company. Subscriptions of- 5s each ^ were received from Mesdames/ Payne, | Bateman, C. M. CampbeLF V. Judd land Hannam, during^t-he month of ! January.
