FIRE AT PARAPARAUMU
Fire caused minor damage at the residence of Mr. Winterburne, Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, yesterday afternoon. The occupants were absent at the time. The outbreak was discovered by Mr. Debreceny. The siren was sounded and many helpers were soon at the scene with bucket pumps and extinguishers. Within I half an hour, the fire was out. The house was insured, but not the contents.
