Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Standen, of Salisbury Street, Levin, are on ■ a hbliday in HaWke's Bay. {Mr. and Mrs. C. Sherwood have returned to Levin after a sojurn in Napier and Hastings. Last evening Miss M. Kennerley, who is taking up Salvation Army work, was farewelled by members of the Methodist Church. Rev. G. R. Harris spoke in appreciation of Miss Kennerley's work and said that she would be greatly missed, especially in the Bible Classes and church, as she had been closely associated with this work. Miss A. Hudson presented Miss Kennerley with a bouquet and Miss' J. Sorenson made a presentation on behalf of church friends. Miss Kennerley feelingly replied and then supper was served by the ladies.
