VESSELS FOB NEW ZEALAND From the Forth it is reported that the motor ship "Kanna" is starting on lier tirst trip to New Zealaud. New orders announced by Clyde shipyards include oue for two passenger vessels for the .British Columl)ia Coastal Service of,t!.P.R. The builders are the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company. The two ships will have turbo-electric drive, like the four "Beaver" class trans-Atlantie freighters already ordeved from Fairfield "by the C.P.R. Thor Dalil of -jSandef jord, who recently p'aeed an order for a whale factory ship with a Copenliagen firnij are reported l>y the journal "Svren and Shipping" to be negotiating with a British shipyard for construction of a similar type of ship of 21,000 tons delivery at the end of .1947.
