When the above subject was referred to the Mayor (Mr. H. B. Burdekin) he pointed out that when he raised the matter-it had been referred to the Council's town planning, by-laws and _s drainage committee. That committee had now met and considered the position, and was placing a recom'mendation before the monthly meeting of the Council on Monday evening next. — Editor.
