j According to the owuer, Mr. E. N. I Eitzgerald, the prospccts of the cliam1 pion galloper Kindergarten racing again this season are very bright. As reported last week, Kindergarten was to have coine to Wellington for the Challenge Stakes, but the ownerwas uuable to secure express trausit for him and would not undertake the long and broken journey by goods train. Mr.. Eitzgerald stated rccently that Kiudei'garten had been in solid work at Gisborne for some time and appeared to be thriving 011 it. Ho looked as fit and well as ever he had done in the past. Present intentions are that Kindergarten will make his next public appearance at the Auckland June nieeting when he should get soft going to suit him.
