Omit and Master Dash were first out and came home from the half-mile in 53sec. Al-Sirat ran the last half-mile of his work in 49 4-5sec., and did it well. Wide Range took 53see., and Blue Moon and Night Foe 52sec. for similar tasks. Palfrey was' well clear of Bitter Sweet after covering the last seven furlongs of a mile in 1.35 3-5, the iinal half-mile in 55 2-5sec. Hormuz was a shade clear of Tuis over six furlongs in 1.22, while Jonathan Jo came home from the half-mile in 52sec.
