The Britisii for wards attacked and though Angus and Smith showed up in good runs the British team held a territorial advantage for some fcime. Guest intercepted, Lufc Cook tackled him. Then Rich ards missed a drop-kick at goal. Jenkins missed a penalty shot; he also at tempted a field goal. Then Cook was just short with a penarty shot from halfway. From a ruck Edwards passed to Young, who hroke away on the blind side, kicking past the full-back and' Meates picked up the ball and scored, Cook missing with the kick. — Kiwis 3, British Army 0. The Kiwi forwards made two fine vushes from a scrum. Edwards worked ihe blind side and Allen raced over to score. — Kiwis 6, British Army 0. Early in the second half, Jenkins nissed an easy penalty goal and Davis and Jenkins missed further penalties. Etagged play foilowed until Allen made a great run and "beat several men, passmg to Finlay, to Proctor, to Meates, i and to Snnth who scored. The kick at : goal failed. — Kiwis 9, British Army 0. j The Kiwis were getting definitely the ' upper hand and went close to scoring j : . two or three passing rushes.
