AFRICAN PRINCE
SOYIET ATOM BOMB REPORT Dr. Raphael Ernest Grail Armat--toe, the scientist who recently stated that the Russians have developed an atom bomb far more powerful than the bomb developed by America and Britain, is a native Prince of the Gold Coast, West Africa, who has been practising medicine in Londonderry since 1939, reports a correspondent. He has studied in Hamburg, Paris and Zurich, besides Edinburgh and London, and has scientific friends ,in Northern Europe, to one of whom, it is now disclosed, he owed his information. Dr. Armattoe says that the name of" Russia's leading physicist, Professor Kapitza — who was formerly associated with Lord Rutherford's atomic reseaf.ches at Cambridge — crops up in the scientist's letter. The informant, however, stated that Russia's final experiment wiil not be made until the end of January o'r the beginning of February.
