HUNTLEY TROPHY GAME
SHANNON BEAT- FOXTON A team of Shannon bowlers visited Foxton on Saturday and were successful in winning rne Hanuiey trophy from the Foxtoh Club, the ! scores heing Shannon 24 points, Foxton 17 points. The teams were as follows: — Shannon: H. Karena, A. F. Bix'ss, C. ; M. Cronquest and E. J. Wilson (skip). Foxton: W. O'Leary, H.j Patterson, R. Gilmore and D. i McMillan (skip ) . j As the trophy has not been in circulation since November, 1941, ; the Shannon Club is now anxious to 1 receive challenges, and is extending an invitation ro the Levin Ciub to a match in the near future.
