SMALLPOX ON LINER
LONDON, March 10. There was smallpox aboard the liner Orontes, which arrived at Southampton with 4000 Servicemen from /the Far East., The authorities ordered the liner back to midstream when they suspected an outbreak. A large staff of doctors boarded the liner to begin the long task of vaccinating every passenger and member of the crew. This job is expected to be completecl by Monday. 1
