; "New Zealand's output of milk powder is sold to the United Kingdom which gives instfuctioh as to !its destination," said the Mifiistef ! of Finance (Hon. Waltef Nash) when commenting on the cable that the Indian Government had ofdered 10,000 tons of milk powder iffom New Zealand, Ahstralia and America. Mr. Nash said that New | Zealand had sent 2000 tons Of milk [powder to Bombay a short time ago oh British instruetions. The exportable surplus of New Zealand skim hiilk powder is from 6000 to 3000 tons a year. Durinp* the last two years the bulk of this has gone to India.
