NARROW ESCAPE
GENERAL EISENHOWER AND MR. CHURCHILL Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. NEW YORK, March 10. Mr. Churchill and General Eisenhower narrowly escaped injury at Williamsburg, Virginia, today when the two white horses drawing the ancient coacb in which they were riding, were frightened by pbotographers' flashbulbs, buck-ed, plunged and threatened to run away. The horses were quietened by the negro coachnian. The incident caused cancell ation of a scheduled horse-drawn tour.-Of the colonial capital of old Virginia. Throughout the hectic scene of coni'usion and commotion, v;hen women were screaming. policemen shouting and hundreds milling ahout the coach, Mr Churchill calmly puffed a long hlack ciear.
