MANAKAU RRANCH MEETS The February meeting of thi Manakau branch of the Women Division of the Farmers' Unioi took the form of a garden party held in the beautiful grounds of Mr and Mrs. Guy Martin. The day was Berfect and there was a , larg_ attendance of mefnbefs, inciudihg several ' visitors • frdm silste branches. Competitions were held and also a treasure hunt among th flowers, the latter being won by Mrs. Neilsen. The president (Mrs. R. Robin son) thanked Mr. ancL Mrs. Martir. for the use -of their- home dufing the- afternoon, and then made twc presentations to departing members of the branch — Mrs. Coterill Who is Ieaving to take up residcnef at Paraparaumu, and Mrs. Dc Simas, who is going to Levin.
