Clayton auvised members of the Shannon Borough Council on Fuesday evening that the timber for the construction of the new ocate houses in Shannon had arrived on the site in Grand Street, and the contractors had made a start on the buildings! Cyclists on Footpaths The number oi cyclists riding on footpaths was referred to at the fortnightly meeting of the Shannon Borough Council, and it was decided to ask the co-operation of the police in putting an end to the practice.
