EFFORT BEINGS OYER £100 The Levin School annual f ete was held yesterday in cold but fine weather. The ett'ort and its organisation a,nd control was a credit to the Work of the staff and pupils of the school. The many stalls were not as we'll laden as usual owing to restrictionsr . put what „ was presented was sold at bargain prices. At the end of the day it was found that the gross return was well over the £100 mark. During the day several donations Were received, among them the following: — Mr. J. A. GOodwin £1 ls and Messrs. G. E. Wharton, R. J. Foss and H. Thorle^ £1 each. Mr. W. Greig presented a laiiib for the weight gueSsing competition. Thanks were also extended to several parents who donatea dressed fowls, fruit, vegetables ana clothes. " The stall holders were as follows:— Class stails: Mr. W. G. Neas, ^,ir. F. G. Ice creani: G. Doyle and H. Honore. Woodwork: Mr. M. Boyce. Special class: Miss Leddra.
