KOPUTAROA BEAT MANGAORE During the week-end the Koputaroa Tennis Club continued its success by gaining an overwhelming defeat against the Mangaore Club by 14 sets to two, 139 games to 68. Following are the results, Koputaroa players being mentioned first in each case: — Men's singles: M. Ching beat A. M. Robinson 9 — 5, W. Jackson beat G. Campbell 9 — 3, H. Mackle beat L. Elvines 9 — 0, E. Baker beat M. Grey 9—2. Ladies' singles: Miss C.« Fitzgerald beat Mrs. Robinson 9-— 4, Mrs. B. Baker beat Miss A. Mitchell 9 — 5, Mrs. M. McMillan beat Miss J. Murdoch 9 — 5, Miss J. Bird beat Mrs. Elvines 9 — 4. Men's doubles: Ching and Jackson beat Robinson and Campbell "9 — 2, Mackle and Baker beat Elvine^ and Grey 9 — 3. Ladies' doubles: Miss Fitzgerald and Mrs. Baker beat Mrs. Robinson and Miss Mitchell 9—3, Mrs. McMillan and Miss Bird lost to Mrs. Elvines and Miss Murdoch 5—9-. Mixed doubles: Ching and Miss Fitzgerald beat Mrs. Robinson and Robinson 9 — 6, Jackson and Mrs. Baker lost to Miss Mitchell and, Campbell 7 — 9, Mackle and Mrs McMillan beat Miss Murdoch and Elvines 10 — 8, Baker and Miss Bird beat Mrs. Elvines and Grey 9 — 0.
